A delegation from the University of Zakho, including Dr. Shlair Th. Noraldin, the Director of Quality Assurance at UoZ, Dr. Sanya Jabar Abuzeid, the Director of General Registration at UoZ, and Ms. Shelan Younis, currently PhD student at the Department of Kurdish Language, participated in the conference on The Political Struggle of Kurdish Women, which was organized by the Kurdistan Women's Union (KWU). The conference was held on the 1st till the 2nd of December 2015 at the Cultural Center of the Salahaddin University- Erbil. The two days events introduced many seminars on womens issues and the struggle and impact of war on women.
